Baker National
A county park is the setting for Baker National, a beautiful and challenging, but much overplayed course.
Beautiful and challenging, but overplayed
To get the most of your round, play from the back tees; it's a whole different, and much more interesting course from blues than it is from whites.

Many holes at Baker are unique, but #6 especially stands out: a short par 5 with a lake on the right and tall trees down the left. Feel lucky? Hit a big drive to the narrow landing area and you've got a chance to reach the small, well-protected green in two. A classic risk-reward par 5.

Baker sports a fine layout that's deserving of a high rating, but it's extremely busy, so long rounds are not uncommon, and the overplay contributes greatly to the below-average greens.
